Event-Prep
There’s always the possibility of changes during a live event. This is my setup to do voiceover on the road, should new title/intro videos be needed.
DSSI Forum 2022
With all the video finished, music cues set and lighting approved, I switch to camera operation for the main event.
DSSI 2022
My favorite overall set design. Some compromises were made, but I loved the rigging, multiple monitors and more “immersive” layout. Definitely a win.
CPAC 2020 – Lockdown Broadcast
The fine folks at Logan Productions hooked us up with live streaming capabilities for a virtual broadcast. Numerous video clips were made for both the desk, side monitor and cut-away segment.
DSSI Forum 2020
Probably my favorite projection setup. I was clean, different and offered many options for creative storytelling.
DSSI Forum 2020
It first some weren’t sold on the multi-panel look, but once they saw it in person, the became believers.
DSSI Forum 2020
Again, this setup offered a lot of unique opportunities for presentation and video design.
TELS Summit 2019
I wasn’t too involved with this event and a vendor provided the scenic for this in-house event. However, I handle the up and down lighting behind the scenic, which required a fair amount of climbing around.
DSSI Forum 2018
One of the largest displays I’ve designed. The video files were enormous and playback was an issue, so I converted everything to Pro-Res 4:4:2 the day before the event.
DSSI Forum 2017
This was a crazy one. Scenic changes were needed the night before the event. I found myself up on catwalks, on ladders and futzing with DMX addresses, trying to get everything done.
DSSI Forum 2017
I had a great time working with the Customer Experience team to plan the look and activities for the evening events.
DSSI Forum 2017
Our thematic for the event was “light”, which allowed for some fun evening entertainment.
DSSI Forum 2016
The theme for this event was “bubbles” and effervescence. It was the first time I was able to use a circular format – with standard projections flanking.
DSSI Forum 2016
Shortly after a presenter walked across the stage with a bubble-gun and the audience was given little bottles of bubbles to blow.
DSSI Forum 2016
We were supposed to be outside for the evening, but there was rain. Luckily, I had actually brought MY OWN lights to the event, which allowed for a quick “Plan B” activities option.
DSSI Forum 2015
We went subtle on the scenic, choosing wash lighting and drapes. The larger feat was a broadcast from Milwaukee to Marco Island, FL before such things were more common.

dBLOCK Logo
Created with prompts in Midjourney and later fleshed out in Photoshop. The “dB” is a subtle nod to audio decibel units.
dBLOCK “Creative” Resume
This was prompted in Midjourney and then texture mapped in Photoshop. Along with “tour dates” it also features logos for many software platforms I use.
dBLOCK Stage Pass
Playing into the “tour” theme, this is my business card for when I meet others. (Perhaps that’s how you got here?)
Coffee Club Invite
I finally got to use my “Cranky Bag” illustration! The office had a small “opt-in” club for coffee lovers. This an Outlook appointment I put together for a friendly field trip.
Eyes Closed Exercise
For a Creative dept. meeting, we were given prompts and told to draw them with our eyes closed. “Breakfast” “Under Water” “Desert” and “Self Portrait”
Tim is feeling…
There’s a coworker I truly enjoyed who had one particular quirk. Just a fun illustration.
Blue Man Illustration
One of the first works I ever created in Adobe Illustrator. I was still a neophyte, but I had fun with the impressionistic look.
Sales Department Awards DVD Cover
In addition to producing a “spoof” video for a banquet, I also authored a separate Blooper Reel DVD of outtakes for the cast & crew. Some Photoshop fun, courtesy of Kevin Smith
Tom Paprocki “Roadhouse”
A member of leadership had gone for a while without getting a haircut. It seems like a good “Photoshopportunity”. An exercise in blending modes.
New Years Day Flyer
Event flyer based on a manipulated photograph. Mostly tinkering with color concepts.
“Drinksgiving” 2014 FB Banner
Facebook banner I illustrated for a local nightclub hosting a charitable event.
“Drinksgiving” 2014 Flyer
Print flyer I illustrated for a local nightclub hosting a charitable event.
Club Anything Flyer
A local nightclub was having a special event and wanted flyers to put up inside and around town. While a simple layout, the question mark graphic was based on their steel outdoor signage at the time.
Jewel Case Print Piece
CD tray liner for a local band. The barcode/SID info was later handled by the print vendor. I also illustrated the “ERC Records” logo.
